Kit includes side and lining laminations, detail and headpiece veneer, bindings and back strip, cross-grain back center patch and veneer for creating the wheat motif and rosette center ring.

All the components of the classical guitar wood detail kit have been carefully chosen to produce an elegant look on either a spruce or cedar top guitar. A slightly different scheme as that of the book or dvd the components are put together the same way. The warm brown Jatoba for binding and back strip bends easily and looks great on almost any guitar wood combination.
The decorative scheme is the same for both types of guitars, the difference between the spruce and cedar package is the side laminations. On a spruce top guitar the inner side laminations are Alaskan yellow cedar and on a western red cedar guitar they are pear wood. Everything else is the same. Could you use Alaskan yellow cedar on a cedar top guitar? Certainly, but the option is available.
