The Classical Guitar Making Advanced Level Master Kit contains everything you need to get started right away building your guitar right along with the DVD.
The guitar design includes an advanced bracing pattern for the soundboard and an elegant treatment of the upper bout to solidify the neck angle and make installation or the fingerboard easier. This guitar design is a bit more challenging than the guitar in the book.
Key elements like the templates, molds and solera kit as well as some of the tools have been made on a CNC machine for ultimate accuracy – and have all been designed to work together.
Without a doubt the solera is the most important piece in making a guitar that will be comfortable to play. The solera kit contains everything you need to create an accurate and stable work board. If your solera is not made right – your guitar won’t be made right either.
The classical guitar making kit also contains the plane making dvd and a compass plane kit. The compass plane is used to make the dished work-boards for the top and back. Making your plane is a great starting project and will only take a weekend to complete.
The guitar making products in all the kits are the same and can be used to construct the guitar in both the book and DVD

After reading the book and watching the DVD’s, I was very excited to receive this kit. There is a lot of effort required in making all the components before you can start making the guitar. This kit saves hours and hours on the prep needed, and given that prep work is key to success, this kit did not disappoint. Everything is well made with quality materials and extreme accuracy. This kit will certainly set me up for success in the build.
