These hard to find end mill bits for guitar rosette inlay are ideal for installing rosettes one section at a time as demonstrated in both the Classical Guitar Making book and 10-DVD box set by John Bogdanovich. These bits allow you to build your rosette a section at a time, making the job easier. These bits can be used on steel string guitar rosettes as well.

These bits can be used with the 2-Pi Cutter Router Attachment. A variable speed router is recommended such as the Rigid R2400 variable speed laminate trimming router. The ability to reduce the speed will extend the life of the bits.

Bits come in three sizes 1/16″, 3/32″ and 1/8″, shank is 1/4″.

Several years ago, I bought a set of these 3 inlay bits, and liked them well enough to order another set of all three sizes. Paired up with the 3-pi router jig and Rigid trim router, makes a really good way to cut rosette channels.

These excellent cutters are not only hard to find elsewhere but also seem to be more expensive elsewhere, making them great values. Their short length means they are best used in routers and router jigs permitting the router collet to be positioned close to the guitar top on which they are being used.

These quality tools are ideal, and I might say essential, for creating the rosettes shown in the book. Without them getting through the creation of the rosette would be difficult, with them it is a matter of careful planning and following instruction in the book.

Very timely delivery.
