    Beautiful work!

I am curious as to how it sounded compared to previous builds. My reference is having only built as few guitars so far. A spruce/rosewood and redwood walnut. I am planning this upcoming winter’s build and am thinking about the zizicote/spruce combination. Or maybe cedar for the top.

I believe I found my answer on LMI’s web site.

    “Tuners with a 10mm (.393″) rollers require a slightly larger hole. We recommend a 3/32″ (.406) bit.”

So for classical, the 3/32″ is standard even though the posts are 10mm…I guess I am easily confused, and easily suckered down a rabbit hole.

These small details are what in time amalgamate into experience.

    Hey Bruce,

    Did you try the Ziricote?
