Hi, I wanted to get an idea of what’s involved in building a guitar so I just finished watching all the videos and I learned a lot.
I’m wondering if I should get the DVDs. What’s different between the two?
A couple of things that were not covered (maybe I missed it) in the online videos are glueing the bridge and cutting the fret slots on the fingerboard.
Do the DVDs cover that in detail?
    Thanks,
    Al

    Hello Al,

I bought both, now I thing tha the DVD is essential. Maybe because following the steps and watching John doing the work helped me to visualize the process much better.
I do go back often to the book to check measurements. At least in my case, I would have felt very insecure without watching someone doin it.
I am convinced that the DVD covers each stage of the build with more detail and the pace is perfect. Maybe you can get a sample and compare.

    Ric
